How quickly can you say the colours of the words, not the words themselves.
Colour programming
Look at this pattern for at least a minute (the longer the better), tracing your eyes over all parts of it.

Can you see colours in this pattern? It really is just black and white, but you have programmed your brain to see one set of diagonal lines as one colour (probably a kind of pink) and the other set as a pale green.
Stare at the four dots in the centre of this picture for at least a minute.
Focus on the dot in the centre and move your head backwards and forwards.
For example, for the first one you need to say 'Green' not 'Red' - if you say the actual word you have to start again.
Then scroll down to the black and white pattern below.
Then look at a white wall and blink. What do you see?
